Very beautiful red marble clock and figurines in Barbedienne style polished bronze.

The figurines, men and women, represent scenes and games of ancient Greece, and the whole is charming and very sensual.

Height 24 cm x width 43 cm. Weight 25 kg.

Red marble dial signed "Barbedienne in Paris."

Ferdinand Barbedienne was a famous bronze smith in Paris from 1838 to 1952.

19th century movement.

Striking on a bronze bell: 1 strike on the half hour and counting of hours.

Pear-shaped brass hands.

Gilded Roman numerals.
